Beautiful day...

What a beautiful day today. The snow is melting like crazy. When Teyla and I were playing outside yesterday, there was still snow under the swing set. When we got home from work today most of the snow has melted. At this rate we will not have any snow left by the weekend. There will be no more puddles for splashing in...boo! We were outside both Saturday and Sunday, splashing our way through every single puddle in the yard and down the lane. I got smarter by Sunday afternoon and pushed the stroller while Teyla splashed her way down the lane. When we got to the end and she was too tired to hike it back I just pushed her instead of having to carry her.
I noticed that the lily bed is completely bare now. The dirt is calling to me. I can see a bit of early flower bed cleaning coming up.
I made a fun new piece of yard art to put out...as soon as there is not too much snow down the turkey trail. I made a gnome door. Last fall I found the perfect fallen tree for a gnome house. It kind of broke and fell over about 3 feet up from the ground. With a little door on the base, close to the ground I am sure a  gnome will move right in. And the best part is the tree is a bit back from the road so for the kids to spot it they will have to be looking around while they walk. I will tell them a story all about the little forest gnome that Teyla and I spotted while out walking, mentioning that I think maybe he lives somewhere near by.
Will let their curiosity take it from there.
Well "Then She Was Two" has been sent to the printer. Another book done. I will bring it to show you all before I give it to Teyla. Once she has looked at it with her little jam dipped fingers it is a bit sticky to share around. Now to pick my next scrapbook project.
