Ruminating....

Very cool word...ruminating....sounds fancy...I looked it up in the dictionary ( on-line of course). To ponder, to muse.... meditate. Yep very fancy word. then reading on...
to chew cud....okay...that shattered the whole illusion. I still quite like the word but I am now stuck with a rather bovine visual.
We did a lot of ruminating on lust and sex last night.
It just this minute popped into my head... follow me here...
picture our very 1st bible study meeting....close your eyes and look around the room...
picture the crowd.... now picture the less than serious parts of our discussion from last night happening in this room.... hahahaha.... nope.... can't make it focus....
We, my dears, are an extremely unusual group. A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll!
So I have been very busy at work these past few days. *joke*
Actually I have been. I finally finished the family cookbook I have been working on since December. 62 pages...wheeww... I think it turned out very nice. I hope the rest of the family is as pleased with it as I am. I snuck a picture of Teyla in on the last page!
This past week I have been working on her "Then she was 2" book. They are a lot of fun. I have been scrapping and watching Stargate Season One. It is great fun to pour over the photo memories of the past year and pick what will go into the book. It makes it all the more enjoyable because she loves her little books. We look at the pictures in the 1st 2 all the time.
I am pondering a nature- yard type book for Cornell next. I will have to see how many pictures I can come up with.
I never told you...we had a family dinner with my side 2 Sundays in a row. One for Teyla/ great-grampa's birthday at my parents house and then this past Sunday at Joey's for my sisters 50th birthday. I survived both with only a small amount of irritation and a mild rash.  One more to go. Must have an Easter dinner also.
I am excited for that one though because I get to do the Easter hunt thing. I saw a "Jelly Bean" bird the other day and I am pretty sure they are nesting in our yard.
